How to avoid software default download to Local Disk C

Many friends are owning their own PC or Laptop and they hate mostly when download a Software or app like Firefox, iTunes, these software will automatically save to Local disk C which lead to PC speed slower and produce much temporary file and other Cookie files to take up limited storage of Local Disk C.
Although we are not IT talents but we can’t stand those Software manufactures to pick on us just like they are the God of IT world.
Here goes to the simple way to change default download to Local disk C:
I take Google Chrome as example:
Firstly go to right top of Google Pincher “Customize and Control Google Chrome”,
Go to->Options->Under the Hood
Open Under the Hood->Downloads-> Download location->Change

Then here to change the location you hope to save your download to, here I choose Local F disc, as that Local disk is huge and no fluence to PC speed.

Here you can download a Software to have a try, DVD to Nook Tablet Converter for Mac which enables you ripper DVD to Nook Tablet Mp4 and playing it smoothly on Nook Tablet. And you will found to download to other Local disc other than local disc C is much safe, as you can easily uninstall andno worrying not delete clearly to generate boring broken installer problem.
