LG unveils Xnote Z330 ultrabook in South Korea

LG has launched a new ultra-portable laptop, which it says is both thinner and lighter than Apple’s market-leading MacBook Air.

The LG Xnote Z330 is a thin and light laptop with a choice of an Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor. It has a 13.3 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display with a small screen bezel, which means the laptop isn’t much larger than a notebook with a 12.1 inch display.

The Xnote Z330 measures 0.6 inches thick and weighs about 2.7 pounds. It has 4GB of memory, and a 120GB or 256GB solid state disk, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and Intel’s WIDI wireless display technology.

There’s no word on if or when we’ll see this model in the US, but the Xnote Z330 is launching in LG’s home country of South Korea in December with prices starting at about $1500.
